So Bello you sipped it too?
Well, actually I am a student
Of Malam Isa, the master poet
And of course TJ
And Huzaifa and other poets
Reading and appreciating their poems
The few ones
I have written
Are pathetic to say least
But I am consoled by the fact (that)
Many writers we(a)re pathetic poets
Achebe for example
But poets do impress me
Alot
With the way they 'effortlessly'
Showcase wisdom
It is a gift
Well done.
