360 DEGREES
...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"
As a plant matures, flowers blossom
A bee patches on soft, colorful, fragranced petals
Symbiotic kisses, sweet, delicious nectar as cowries
Bliss, a cocoon of life, an apocalyps and 360 degrees

I have just won a poetry writing contest with this my poem 360 DEGREES from a Facebook group which I am member. After being declared the eventual winner, I seized the opportunity to hype upon what is being done to divide us by our Nigerian politicians using our ethnicity, religion, regions and much more. Hear me please:
"Thank you all. This is most unexpected I'm actually participating to fine tune my ability, not to win anything or emerge any winner. I am here to learn. Thus I came here, thus I'll remain. However, I sincerely appreciate your accommodation of me, looking strictly at my poeticality, rather than the many things that are now being used to keep us apart
As intellectuals, as poets, we have a bond that transcends all artificiality put in place by man. This I have discovered as a netizen interacting with other bards across the global village. I wanted them as well as you guys to see beyond the name. And I thank God, many are able to shed their sentiments and become their real, true creative selves. I'm elated to have been chosen among the finalists on such a prestigious platform as WRRC. I'm humbled indeed...
The Principal is doing a sound job I can openly confess. For I know much more now than I did when I was admitted to the college by my patron SAm dE POet... Thank you . *Oops, this has turned out to be a prize acceptance speech of sort - hehehehe* May we cherish our good side and bear our shortcomings...y'all.
Finally, I wish to share my prize with another submission that I find captivating among the many other fine poems here pitched - Esau's Posterity by Olanrewaju Moses-Poet
Thank you once again."
