Wednesday 09th March, 2016 at 12:45pm KWANDALA FOUNDATION visited His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at Kano State Government House to condole him over the death of his mother Hajia Fadimatu Umar Ganduje who died in the morning hours of Friday 4th March, 2016.
Arriving at Kano State around 1:00pm and heading straight to meet with the Governor, Kwandala Foundation officials who had intended going to Ganduje town where the His Excellency was initially attending to condolers, before being informed that the venue has been changed to Kano Government House, were promptly ushered in amidst tight security and protocol.
Receiving guests at Africa House, the Executive Governor Dr. Ganduje humbly sitted amidst other government dignitaries and o...fficials among whom are Prof. Hafiz Abubakar, his Deputy Governor and many of his commissioners accepted heartfelt greetings and prayers for peace and tranquility to shower upon the soul of the 95 years old grandma, Hajia Fadima from the K. Foundation team.
In the K. Foundation delegation were Arc. Tijjani Muhammad Musa (President), Salihu A Umar (Ag. Hon. Sec. Gen.), Auwal Muhd Danlarabawa (PRO), Amina Aliyu Dogarai (Welfare Secretary), Sani Bala Tela (AGM2016 Chairman Scholarship Sub-Committee), Rabiu Shamma (AGM2016 Chairman Lecture/Seminar Sub-Committee), Shehu Musa Doguwa (AGM2016 Chairman Logistics Sub-Committee) and Goni Mohammed (AGM2016 Secretary Editorials Sub-Committee).
Immediately after the Foundation delivered the condolence message of its members, the Governor and his entourage suspended all activities in order to observe the Zuhr Salat. But not before an extensive supplications were offered for the demise of the Kano State Chief Executive's mother. May her gentle soul rest in absolute and perfect peace, Amin.
