Bayero University Kano observed its final Convocation Day today which was held for Post Graduate Students. I was among the graduands. No, not yet my M.Sc. in Mass Comm, but with my PGDMC of 2017.
The convocation hall was full to capacity and its surroundings took the semblance of a picnic funfare. Families, friends and well wishers were all over, talking excitedly, taking pictures, sharing foods, drinks, love and friendship.
But that's not where the Mass Comm family raised the roof and some had some real fun. Curious to know where?
Come let me show you where we gathered and truly celebrated our newly acquired PhD holders as the crème-de-la-crème of our Faculty.
I was there in the midst of academics and intellectuals. Double Prof. Abdallah Uba Adamu of NOUN and Prof. Umar A. Pate Dean PG School BUK were in attendance.
Drs. left, right and center! With Professors and Associate Professors rubbing minds and celebrating new arrivals. Congratulations to them all.
AlhamdulilLaah. Ma sha Allaah. May Allaah SWT Shower His Blessings upon the acquired knowledge. May it benefit us all, amin.
