THE ENEMY

…by Poetic Tee “Here, take a sip”

The enemy
Is not Christianity or Christians
Nor is it Islam or the Muslims.
It's so plain to see, most miss it.

The enemy
Is common to both them faiths
It's the sponsors and perpetrators
Merchants of terrorizing terrorism.

The enemy
Is anti-marriage, anti-family
Anti-decency, anti-morality
Anti-soberness, anti-sanity.

The enemy
Is Anti-Christ, Anti-God
Anti-knowledge, anti-light
Anti-truth, anti-enlightenment.

The enemy
Is not your friend, but a sworn one
Inviting you to false freedom
Laughing at you in the lurch.

The enemy
Is hidden in your desires
Stocking, fueling a bonfire, beware
Awaiting a day things will backfire.

The enemy
Do you still doubt who he is?
Sometimes camouflaged as a she
Soon to manifest, so be ready to flee.

We are Kwandalites

We are a coin
Humble, simple, single, multiple.

We are a Bridge of Hope
Between GIVEr and taker.

We are a link, a connection
Between 'thropists and needy.

We are Welcome
'Cos we well, welcome all.

We are triplet crossings
For Help, Assistance, Happiness.

We are veins
Of a pumping, GIVING heart.

We are humane
Humanitarians, who still have it.

We are Compassionists
Companions of the distressed.

We are deep, bold, strong
All seasons tree, bearing good fruits.

We are smiles, laughter
Chasers of gloom, sadness, pains.

We are different
Among differents, yet again we are.

We are winds
Advancing, bearing glad tidings.

We are four words
Man, faith, knowledge and spirit.

We are you
When tears escape your control.

We are not much
But very much, yet much more.

We are rainbow
Colorful, intermingled spectrum.

We are time
Living, loving, longing, lasting.

We are unimportant people
Doing very important things.

We are "The" Kwandala Foundation!

MAULUD 24/7/355 LUNAR DAYS A YEAR

Image result for masjid nabawi ...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Maulud An-Nabiyy?
Celebrate Rasool's birth,
Only on 12th Rabi'ul Awwal?
Naah. I'm not that niggardly.

What unfairness to my soul
Or to his venerated reverence.

For me, his true follower
Every single breath I take,
Is in celebration of him (saws).
His presence here, in my heart.
His every moment spent on earth.
And that's ever since he was born.

Islam For All's photo. My soul,
Before coming to life
Was ecstatic in absentia,
Is humble in jubilation now
And will be, in every second
Till eternity takes its last breath.

A LOUD SILENCE

...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Why do doors squeak?
So loud in silence of night
Fore-telling tales to befall
As floors reveal stealthers
Seeking horror's embrace
To gift not self, inno-souls
Hearts too, awaken minds
Some feel, others neglect
Doo'as open double doors
Yet, soundless in the light.

GEEK

...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Why do doors speak?
Boats too in the creek
Hear the snore squeak
1, 2 droplets off a leak
Old bones I hear creak
Persistently from a peak
Bravery lacks the meek
Much ado about a freak
Macabre dance in Greek

UNFINISHED

...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip'

Whatever impatience achieves
Patience can do better.

Not always is day defined by light
Nor night shrouded in darkness.

Give me a rich, sad man
I'll give a poor, happy one.

To be continued...

THE RESURRECTION

...by Poetic Tee "Here, tae a sip"

Decons, Recons
and lone wolf Redecon
were all earthlings.

Clearly, the free birdie detached,
reinvented its poetic self
and changed realms.

From up above, like a shark
which must continue swimming
all the time to remain alive,

the free birdie kept flying,
gliding round and round
like a kite

dropping droppings
intermittently with a thud,
hoping against hope

the audible impact
would stir you guys
from the depth of the abyss

your poetic muse's soul
had become lost in,
awaiting your revival

from the spell
casted upon you
into hibernative trances.

I almost gave up hope,
but still held on to faith.
Now, I see you

becoming awaken. :D
Welcome back earthlites...
Hehehehehehehehe

AHLUL DHIKR

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo....by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

It's all distributed among us

Knowledge of things, I mean

What you know since thirteen

Till you clock eighty something

Numbers, alphabets, abstracting

Heard, read, written, even obscene
Is embedded somewhere unseen

Know not where? Ask as a routine
One man entrusted, is a gold mine

Inspired to give, soon it's all yours.

CAPITALISM PRISM

...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

You, a candle wax
White, wick and weak.

A match strikes
Hot, smoky passion aglow

Fire ignites
Subtle light illuminates.

Darkness bolts
As sights relish the flash

Born to pun
Breaths spray life away.

Flare of the sun
A prance in cosmic black.

You'll burn, burn-out.
While they grow, over-flow.

That's you, former
The latter "They"? Capitalists!

SHARE, WHILE YOU CAN

...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Just sharing,
while we can.
'cos one day,
though we can,
yet, we can't.

Why?

Well, 'cause those
we wish pleased,
to share with,
might no more be,
available.

Then though,
though we can,
we can only wish,
for gone will be we
and the ability.

So eat that fish,
palatable in a dish,
aromatic, sweet. High
as intoxicant, hashish
or tasting like sushi.

Next, eyes stare,
at surreal stairs,
trying to spare,
lost beauty, an affair
our pride once declare'.

Smile of sadness,
will register agony
and regress
and reflect
and regret.

On a face,
Shine stained tears,
reminiscing a case,
about a race,
at a place.

Full of vibes,
not of tribes,
needing no bribe,
Yet, each a scribe,
subscribe to be inscribed.

Remember again,
even if we can,
we still can't,
as the sun'd have set
Twilighting a coming dusk.

LION IN A HAWK'S NEST

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. ...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Shhhh, harken
Hasten to listen.

A sound that balks
In silence that stalks.

Look, books on a stand
Not all minds understand.

Letters that tell
Swell twist in a spell.

It's a play, a plot
Star wars sought, fought.

Pretense factors
False flag creators, actors.

Tickets to partake
6 senses at stake, fake.

Where deceit stools
Wisdom ain't for ol' fools.

Jump, pump, rump, lump
Cut down to a stump.

Words extravagance
Swords slash, a splash dance.

A rich, eloquent truth miser
Can boxer Pulsa be any wiser?

Arrogance flows dark, low
Frozen in motion, a stow.

Applause, then a pause
Now, mightier's Mighty Mouse.

Go on Brutus, rest your oars
Storms calm, after a lion roars.

Scatters, a splatter fest
Havoc wrecked in a hawk's nest.

QUEEN OF TEASE

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. ...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Worries in my heart
About a thing, something
Which is actually nothing
When at it one looks critically.
Yet, disturbed is my tranquil.
Why in this do you engage
O heart of mind, please?

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. What did I do wrong?
Why didn't I say hello first?
Jump, rush to her with kisses
When her aura invaded mine
Now smile's dead on moon face
Eclipse, darken, dwarf days
O where art thou, peace?

I sit still stealing
Glances at She, sublime
In heavenly beautiquettes
Her eyes glow five fierce fires
Fed by anger, hunger, daggers
Fear tear tears in a gush 'n rush
O thy optical dams, cease...

Calm, come calling I beg thee
Once again dominate me, embers
Make Envy envy my enviable serene
Race laughter to Jupiter like did Peter
When soft sweet scents of roses rose
To embrace his love mood made mad
O hugs, await I thy cotton squeeze.

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. Weak wheels weighed
Beyond limits by emotions
Though smart, yet sat flat, splat
My love temptress, cupid unleashed
Enslaver of me, listen to no pleas
Set me not free, till eternity blinks
O Fantasia, my Queen of Tease.

HARMATTANIA

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. ...by Poetic Tee, "Here, take a sip"

O, the Harmattan weather?
It's busy ruffling all feathers.

Cold, chilly, so little sunshine
Few can say "It's good, o fine."

But no qualms, tee taken in sips
Can warm smiles, perching on lips.

Still a favorite season for many
Who have so little or no money.

Water, helplessly hugs the cold
Not so, anybody, even the bold.

Amazing are naked kids, playing
In the gale, nose crystal bleeding.

While ol' teeth clatter with no flow
Ladies legs in leggings are on show.

Seasonal gypsies spice up moods
Variety of spices infiltrate our foods.

Hot is rare, dear, bare, some even swear
As mercury bulbs shiver, cold with fear.

Indoors, a fire burns, throwing out heat
Countless homeless, sleepless in street'.

Anyway, lots of cold weather tales to tell
"Kai! Yau ana sanyi" Does that ring a bell?

OPTIMISTIC OPTee-MYSTIQUE

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. ...By Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Everything in life
Has a price tag.
Just like a good wife
Even if she's a hag.

So be prepared
With what it takes.
Leave nothing spared
For high are the stakes.

Good thing about it though
You can afford it all.
Not just to knead the dough
But the big and the small.

So think you not
This or that's beyond me.
Or allow to enter you, any rot
Nor say "What'll be, will be."

One thing is certain
Things vain are acquired.
A child born with nothing
Soon grows to be admired.

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. So, to opTee-mystiques
Take this simple cue.
Live this life on basics
Be patient on the queue.

A common denominator
Runs through life's lot
It's a fact in a factor
A beauty can be a slut.

You want riches and fame
Peace, simplicity, a heart lit
To know, be wise, avoid shame
All you need do? Work on it.
Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo.
Done was the first
The second and the third.
Spilled content of a chest
Pierced with a shard?

"Wait, wait, I'm yet to drop"
Seems someone has more to say
Sympathetically Sa'id said "Stop.
Gotta go. I ain't got all day"

LIFE IS A SHORT STORY

With the current corrupt billion naira stealers, pls read this piece I penned in July 2015:

…by Poetic Tee “Here, take a sip”

Starts off harmless, grows dangerous
Slithery, slippery, scary and venomous.

Bold, confident, mean, lo fearless
Preys, feeds on weak and helpless.

Thinks itself untouchable, a demi-god
Of a sudden, gets squeezed into a pod.

As reality dawns on it, see?
Rivers head home to a vast sea.

Time runs out, sand in an hour glass
Grace as wings break, a thud on grass.

Soon, a pitiable sight as the sun sets
Darkness envelops a cobra put to rest.

THE MAGIC BANK ACCOUNT (Just Sharing)

This is an interesting perspective that really worth reading. I hope you will enjoy it.
Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo.

Imagine that you had won the following *PRIZE* in a contest:

Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400 in your private account for your use. However, this prize has rules:

The Set of Rules:

1. Everything that you didn't spend during each day would be taken away from you.
2. You may not simply transfer money into some other accounts.
3. You may only spend it.
4. Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another $86,400 for that day.
5. The bank can end the game without warning; at any time it can say, “Game Over!". It can close the account and you will not receive a new one.

What would you personally do?

You would buy anything and everything you wanted right? Not only for yourself, but for all the people you love and care for. Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it all on yourself, right?

You would try to spend every cent, and use it all, because you knew it would be replenished in the morning, right?

ACTUALLY, This GAME is REAL ...

Shocked ??? YES !!!

Each of us is already a winner of this *PRIZE*. We just can't seem to see it.

The PRIZE is *TIME*

1. Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds
as a gift of life.
2. And when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time is Not credited to us.
3. What we haven't used up that day is forever lost.
4. Yesterday is forever gone.
5. Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time WITHOUT WARNING...

SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds blessings of today?

Those seconds are worth so much more than the same amount in dollars. Think about it and remember to seek blessings & happiness every second of your life, because time races by so much quicker than you think.
So take care of yourself, be happy, love deeply and enjoy life!

Start “spending”....

"DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT GROWING OLD…!" SOME PEOPLE DON'T GET THE CHANCE.

SOUNDS, SO LOUD...

Tijjani Muhammad Musa's photo. ...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

Decibels a muse excites
Eyes see, the ears not dare.
Mine woke night mid
Insisting we inscribe inspirati.

Sounds, so loud
Most mortals cannot hear.
So much about its speed
What's the sound of light?

Spectruming dark matter
Its blinding brightness blotted.
I hear the blinking whispers
Each time my eyelids kiss.

Tell me you hear your might
Listen raptly, surely it's there.
The mind recites His Verses
In whispered truthful silence.

Doubt not thyself about them
Diaphragms vibrate in vacuums.
Ever wonder what says
Invisible Sparmaa to Eugineaa?

Two destinies, destined to meet
After a hard, long flagellic trip?
To each solar, lunar eclipse
Man gawk on earth, in awe.

Missing pure ecstatic moans
The twain celestial lovers spare.
Sounds, so, so loud
Only visions can bear.

Drums lack rhythms to pronounce
As we witness weakness with wonders.

BLOOD TRANSFUSION (Just Sharing)

An Arab was admitted in the Hospital for a heart operation, but prior to the surgery the doctors needed to store his blood in case the need arises. As the gentleman had a rare type of blood, it couldn't be found locally.

So the call went out to the neighboring towns. Finally an Igbo guy was located who had a similar type of blood. The IGBO guy willingly donated his blood for the Arab. After the surgery, the Arab sent the Igbo guy as appreciation, a new BMW 540iL, diamonds, lapis lazuli jewelry, and half a million US dollars.

Once again the Arab had to go through a corrective surgery. His doctor telephoned the igbo dude who was more than happy to donate his blood again. After a successful surgery, the Arab sent the dude a thank you card and a box of almond chocolate & sweets.

The igbo guy was shocked to see that the Arab this time did not reciprocate his kind gesture as he had anticipated. He phoned the Arab and told him, ''I thought this time you would give me Toyota Prado, Diamonds and Jewelry. But you gave only a card and a box of almond chocolate & sweets.''

To this the Arab replie:

"Nwanne I can't help it, ..... Now I have igbo blood running in my veins!!"

I'VE LEARNED THAT...

...by Tijjani Muhammad Musa

Someone once sent it to me via email. I think that was about 10 years ago. Then, though I was tripped by its content, all I could do was share it further through more email contacts. Social media as we know it now was not so readily available to all and sundry. In fact many didn't even know what email was, talkless of an interactive medium that could converge all media and place it at our disposal. Well, at least on this side of the global village divide.

I was recently in a hotel reception to see a friend who came from out of town and while waiting to be announced, I let my eyes wander from one wall to another, appreciating the artworks strategically displayed to enhance the interior of the double-volume hall. T2dJay architecturally appraising the within off the beautiful, landscaped exterior.

A colourful sitting lounge and another across the hall, an artificial mini waterfall here, right above it, hanging from the custom-made unique ceiling are 5 wild geese, looking so alive, many are amaze they are made of plastic. A sculpured abstract, some more stuffed wild animals looking so real, one might be taken aback by their jungle presence.

Suddenly, I saw this wonderfully framed written lessons, expressed by many persons at various stages of their journeys in this life. Then I remembered my first encounter  with them. I read the first few ones with nostalgia and couldn't help, but want to share them with you. The interesting question is how did I manage to get them off the wall, while many others who have seen and admired them could not?

Well, first I was tempted to and even started writing them down using pen and paper. But then it occurred to me that we are in the internet age and I could snap the framed sayings and then get it typesetted at the office or at home. I could also used a scan-text app which readily convert the snapped image to a words doc.

Good idea I said and smiled to myself as I whisk out my smartphone from my shirt pocket and focused the 13mega-pixel back lens at the glazed wisdom. So snaap...snaap...snaap, I clicked away. Below is the result of my efforts. Hope you find it enriching to your lives.

It's titled I"VE LEARNED THAT - sharing is one of the best things one can do with knowledge... :)

THE MEANING OF LIFE (Sharing)

...by Anonymous4Now

What are we doing here?
And where are we gonna go?
It’s like we just woke up one morning,
And then it’s welcome to the SHOW.
Don’t ask any questions,
Just go with the FLOW.
Make as much money as you can,
And try your best not to get BROKE.
Copy everything you see on the TV
From the hairstyles to the CLOTHES,
And don’t think too often,
Just do exactly as you are TOLD.
And if you ever get confused,
You just turn towards the ALCO’HOL
You still hear your thoughts?
Then just turn up the RADI’O
As you learn to live a lifestyle of drugs, sex, And ROCK n ROLL.
But in all honesty, I just need to KNOW,
Is there more to the cycle than growing and getting OLD?
Living and dying just to leave behind a happy home
And a whole lot of property that somebody else is going to OWN
I just really need to KNOW, before the caskets CLOSE.
Coz am not willing to gamble with my SOUL
Nor am I ready to take any chances.
These are just simple life questions,
And am just searching for some answers,
Like what are we doing here?
And what is our purpose?
How did we get here?
And who made us so perfect?
Or what happens once we GO
Or is it all really worth it
Questions we don’t answer
Because apparently we don’t have TO
There’s no purpose to this life
And our existence is merely NATURAL
Then in that case please let me ask you
Did you create yourself?
Or was it somebody else who had fashioned YOU?
Coz you are a being that’s IMPECABLE,
FAULTLESS, and UNPARALLELED,
You are a product to supreme intelligence,
And merely being irrational
For there isn’t in this world a camera,
That can come close to the human eye,
Nor a computer that can compete alongside the human mind,
And if the whole world was to come together we wouldn’t be able to create a single FLY.
So many signs,
Yet we still DENY.
Is Science trying to justify that All this could come from NONE?
When it’s a simple sum
0 + 0 + 0 cannot possibly ever give you 1
So from where did all this order come?
For everything has its origin,
A maker, a creator of its OWN,
I mean the only reason why you are watching this VIDE’O, Is because somebody had to press UPLOAD.
So we can believe in the BIG BANG
But not rather believe in HE WHO caused it to EXPLODE
ALLAAAAAHHHHH!
The Creator of everything, Along with every SINGLE SOUL.
The Ever Living, the Master, The One WHO is in CONTROL.
Unlike HIS creation,
Beyond our imagination and NO,
HE’S NOT a man, nor does HE have ANY partners in association,
HE’s on HIS OWN.
And NO HE did NOT EVER leave us ALONE,
Just like every manufacturer,
He left us with an INSTRUCTION MANU’AL.
The QURAN & ISLAM and I’m sorry to jump to conclusions,
But it’s the ONLY one POSSI’BLE.
The Only definition of GOD is THE ONE AND ONLY,
SUPREME BEING that’s logi’CAL,
A book with ZERO contradictions,
With miracles that are both scientific and historical,
All revealed over 14hunderd Years AGO.
Like the detailed description of the human embr’YO
To the mountains as pegs holding firm the earth BELOW,
And the two seas that don’t mix in a complete separate FLOW
To the planets in orbit alternating night and day as they stay in FLOW.
The expansion of the universe and the creation of everything from H2’O
To the stories of the past and the preservation of PHAROAH,
To identifying the lowest point in the land where Persia defeated ROME,
The gushing fluid that created man in the glands between the ribs and the backbone.
And not a word is changed,
It’s still the same, so please explain how all this was KNOWN
Over 14hundred years A’GO.
To a man who couldn’t read or write,
As he would recite whatever the angels spoke,
And if you still don’t believe please try to come up with something that’s EVEN CLOSE.
But you can’t so we took God as a mockery,
And HIS messenger as a JOKE,
Dismissed his scriptures, his legends, and tales of the ancient FOLK,
As we live life according to our whims, desires and hopes,
Saying this life is the only home we will ever KNOW.
We will LIVE then DIE then simply turn to BONES, YO’LO (You Only Live Once)
Correction!
After the grass dies, the rain arrives and then it REGROWS.
And Allah promises to do the same thing to your very soul,
And bring you back from your very fingertips to your TOES.
As the All-Seeing Supreme being watches so close,
And we are surely being tested,
In our wealth, our health, and our self,
And with everything that we’ve been blessed with.
So believe, for we will surely be resurrected
And be brought back to our LORD and account for every single deed,
As He hands us our books and He orders us to READ!
From the bad to the good and everything in between.
You yourself are sufficient for your own ACCOUNT’ABILITee,
So don’t be mad at me,
You are the one, who thought he wouldn’t come back to ME,
I gave you a whole life long to SEARCH after ME,
But you were busy in all that was temporary SO,
READ! And glad tidings to all those who believe and,
If you disbelieve,
READ! And don’t let that day be the first day you find out what your life really means.
READ! – Talk-Islaaam (the meaning of life)
