Sitting adjacent the pavement
Sniffing the swirling warm breeze
Coming from the scorching sun
That's been hitting the parquet floor
Where half of my foot perches.
Sounds of leaves dancing
Swishing from behind my vicinity
Could not have me distracted
From taking me a swag selfie.
And as my location remains
Only known to those who know
I cannot stop gazing at the rickety roof
Right above it, the sky
Wondering about the time
It has spent on earth or I, will.
