A STRANGER AT HOME ~ (Our Dying Cultural Values)

A STRANGER AT HOME ~ (Our Dying Cultural Values)
...by Poetic Tee "Here, take a sip"

She's dressed, yet naked,
"cozy as a spider sheltered in its web."

Feeling safe to stand attired,
not modest enough to sit covered.

Standing tall, telling tales on heels,
how can Grandma invite her to

Sit on a rafia mat? So aloft she remains,
a stranger in her own land.

Chin up high, her pride's her fortress.
Surely, only a bad bird blindly

Forget its way back to its nest.
