What a
unique date this 19th Ramadhan is. And whoever said "Lightening does
not strike in the same place twice"? Well, this date proves them wrong.
For exactly 6 years ago on this very exact date 19th Rsmadhan 1429AH, my
9 years old named Abubabar Sadiq aka SadiqBaba after his grandfather
died. And today, 19th Ramadhan 1435AH, the grandfather Malam Abubakar,
in whose honor my late son was named after also died this morning. Allahu Akbar. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un.
Baba was a man who walks. He was renown for his visitations to family members, wherever they might be located. He was also a man who gave from the little he had. If ever we go visiting, he'd ensure he filled the boot of our car with something to take home. And that is always.
