He stood on the podium and made us promises
Just like kids, many listened with excited pulses
Having captured attention, he added false bonuses
State-of-the-earth hospital with doctors and nurses
Man of many words, king post and many trusses
Believe him surely, only, I say only "If wishes were horses."
